Meet our Illinois Team!

Hannah Rescaru (President/Founder):
Hannah Pescaru is a sophomore from Prospect High School in Mount Prospect, Illinois. She is passionate about teaching about the STEM field and its opportunities after she decided to pursue medicine as a future career. Along with GirlSTEMpowerment, she also helps run Prospect’s branch of Harvard VISION and works with Simply Neuroscience and GirlCon. She plays tennis and sings in her spare time. ​
